GSI International is a global association of security operatives, with 883 members currently operating in 76 countries including Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan and Kuwait. The majority of our personnel served with the Special Forces, the Security Services, the Armed Forces or Police before entering the private security sector. The rest are highly-trained PSD/Close Protection specialists.
Our mission is to provide world-class security personnel to clients worldwide at unbeatable prices, without adding the high profit margins that other security companies charge. We do this by keeping our own costs to a minimum. All GSI charges is 12.5 per cent or £25 a day (whichever is the greater) on top of manpower fees.

GSI International was formed in July 2004 by former Royal Marine Martin Gallagher, who has specialised in the security and investigations industries since 1979. On his appointment as Head of Regional Security responsible for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Cisco Systems, Gallagher passed the baton to GSI General Manager Harry Glover, who has been with the company since the beginning. Harry served with Special Forces before specialising in Close Protection and has extensive experience throughout the Middle East and Europe.
